Having your notebook or camera ever present means those spontaneous ideas that arise from nowhere can be captured and never lost.
Sometimes though, the presence of the notebook or camera means we look and try too hard.
Rather than letting ourselves softly sink into our surroundings and enjoy every sight, sound, and sensation, we’re on a much busier frequency, actively, even desperately, seeking inspiration and ideas.
Some part of just enjoying the experience for what it is, is lost.
Sometimes, it’s better to just fully be, embracing what’s all around you.
Let the creating come long afterwards.
