Two Lessons From The Sea

Recently I visited a favourite seaside haunt with two cameras plus three spare films.

Inspired, I’d soon used all the film.

Still walking, and mentally photographing left right and centre, I rued the creative opportunities lost by running out of film.

I thought again.

Two lessons came to light –

1. Focus on what you have created. The stuff you’ve brought into being that didn’t exist just hours ago.

2. Make sure you have enough supplies. Not drowning in so many you can’t choose and get started. But enough.

How do these lessons apply to you?
