Recently I shot a roll of 24 photographs.
Rewinding the film, I discovered it hadn’t moved past the first frame.
None of the photographs I’d carefully composed had been captured.
At least not by the camera.
In my mind, each had been captured before I pressed the shutter release button.
And because of this, those 24 photographs aren’t lost, because I had that experiencing of making them.
Experience trumps results.
True in this example, and many others.
Are you missing out on creative experience because you’re always focused purely on the end results?
